Frequently Asked Questions

Do you travel for destination weddings?


Yes. On discussion and planning the location of any shoot, including weddings, depending on how far the commute is, there may be an extra fee which goes towards transport.

Do you help with planning our engagement session?


Yes, only if that is something you would like. I do not want to steal your romantic idea away and make it less personal. But to capture the most beautiful shots I can help plan the session.

What are your policies?


There is a policy page that should be read before booking any session with me which can be found on my website on the 'POLICY' page.

Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?


I offer digital files, however upon request I can get prints delivered to your address for an extra fee which would be discussed based on the size of the print, how many prints, and delivery costs.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD ON THE DAY OF THE OUTDOOR SHOOT?


Since photography is highly dependent on light and atmosphere, I keep a close eye on the forecast. If the weather is unsuitable, we will reschedule the shoot to the next best day to ensure you get the high-quality, vibrant shots you are looking for!

DO I OWN THE COPYRIGHT TO THE PHOTOS ONCE I BUY THE PACKAGE?


As the photographer, I retain the artistic copyright to the images, but the packages/shoots include a personal use license. This means you can print the images for your home and share them on social media. If you intend to use the images for commercial purposes (like for a business or office branding), please let me know so we can discuss a commercial license.

CAN YOU EDIT OUT DISTRACTING ELEMENTS OR RETOUCH ME?


Yes, that is part of the professional post-production process. Unlike a quick snapshot, a commissioned landscape piece is carefully 'cleaned' during editing. I will remove temporary distractions like litter, other people, or unsightly cables to ensure the scenery looks pristine and timeless. I will not retouch you (unless you ask) with things you can not change about yourself, I believe in natural beauty, however if their is a pice of hair in the way of your face, a spot, a bruise, etc, I will retouch it.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PET DOESN'T WANT TO COOPERATE IN THE SHOOT?


Don't worry- animals have their own schedule and I try to work around them! I use a 'patience-first' approach, allowing your pet to sniff around to get comfortable with the location before I even start shooting. I focus on capturing natural, candid moments rather than forced poses. If your pet is too uncomfortable in the session and there seems to be nothing that brings the out their shell, such as treats, time, strokes, I will give you the choice of rescheduling to see if a second time round your pet will be more comfortable, or a refund on the session.
